We are so excited to be able to finally give back after a long stretch of hard work and focus on our business. I have taken the initiative of creating a charitable foundation called "From One Sister to Another".
Whether you are a woman or not, does not matter. If your not, then it's a guarantee you have a sister, mother or friend that may be willing to help. The premise of our charity is to help young mothers or young woman get back on their feet.
I personally have struggled as a single Mom for the past 9 years and was grateful whenever I had a helping hand. I have worked so hard and I am finally doing much better with my finances and now willing to help my sisters in need. I attend school at the Native Education College in East Vancouver and happen to be associated with the new Woman's Centre that opened January of this year.
We also happen to be lucky to have a great friendship with a local business owner by the name of Andy Miloglav. He has kindly offered to allow us space for a fun donation box that makes it easier for anyone interested in donating used clothes, accessories, jewelery. shoes, baby clothes, baby toys or anything else that will help these ladies a fresh start and a true sense of hope.
